Length of Posts

 I wonder if there's a way to truncate the posts so they appear only a set amount on the front page.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          That sentence was 100 characters.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              Apparently it can be done by adding a bunch of spaces. About 3 full lines in portrait view on a 10 inch tablet does the trick. It's about 360 characters to clear.
